CONSULTANT IN POPULATION AND DEVELOPMENT
Professional with a degree in Social Sciences and/or Economics, and postgraduate studies in one of the following areas: Demography, Population, Studies, Human Geography or related topics.
At least, 7 years of working and/or academic experience in the implementation of the population dynamics in urban, regional or local development planning and in public policies.
Fully proficiency in English is required.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The consultant in Pupulation and Development shall be responsible for supporting the implementation of the Country Programme Action Plan and specifically the component of population and development, Likewise, the consultant shall support the design, execution, evaluation and control of the component projects and/or actions. He/she shall provide assistance to institutional partners participating in the process of design, execution, tracking and control of the public policies, in the conceptual, methodological and instrumental development necessary to incorporate the population aspects into the development planning and the formulation of other public policies regarding the International Conference on Population and Development and the Millenium Development Goals.
